Shaker Rocks can host events for groups of any type. Bring your bachelor party, corporate team-building lunch, birthday party, family reunion, or any other group our way and we'll give you an event to remember. Private groups can try bouldering and top-roping throughout the gym, and chill out on the crash-pad couches to take photos of friends when they aren't climbing. To book an event for your Private Group, please contact us.**

For groups of kids age 13 and under, we recommend our Birthday Party event option.

All private groups and birthday parties must be scheduled at least three weeks in advance.

Booking Private Groups

Our private group rates are offered to groups of 10 or more or for birthday Parties of more than 15 climbers, when one payor is covering the charges. Spectators (anyone not climbing) are free of charge and are welcome to watch/hangout/cheer-on so long as they have completed our liability waiver.

Standard Private Event Rate:

$220 for a minimum of 10 participants.*
$22/additional participant over 10

Non-Profit Private Event Rate:

$200 for a minimum of 10 participants.*
$20/additional participant over 10

Belay Staff (Optional):

Belayers are the folks you see on the ground holding on to the other end of the climber's rope. While belayers are not required, we do recommend them so that your party has access to the entirety of the gym. If you do not wish to hire belay staff, you will still have access to the bouldering section and any of our auto belays.

$31/hour per belayer.**

**Typical private events are 2 hours long, we recommend 1 belayer per 5-7 climbers

Small snacks are allowed in the climbing area, however If you would like to bring more substantial food (pizza or cake), you must rent the private party room. The private party room is $75/hr with a minimum of 2 hours.

Cancellation Policy: Full refunds are only given when cancellations are made at least three weeks prior to the event. Any cancellation made within three weeks of the scheduled event will result in a 50% refund. No shows, or cancellations made within 7 days will result in a forfeit of the amount paid. (We may be able to reschedule you for a different time slot, but there are no guarantees.)

**Full Space Rental: Groups may also rent out the entire Shaker Rocks space for their event. Different pricing and policies apply. Please contact us for more information.
